Goats Who Stare at Men

On Facebook today, I was asked who I am by Ruby Somera. She's a really sweet girl.

Here was my answer to her:

Hi Ruby!

You'll never know how happy I was to see you friend-me-back. See, I am a collector of wonderful people. Unfortunately, only about 10% of those living today are really wonderful. You are one of them. Anyway, I've discovered a way to make more than 10% get wonderful, too. It's by loving them and showing them wonderful people. As weird as this sounds, it works! This is just one facet of me.

Now you owe me one about you. Tell me what you know. And also pls tell me your #1 fav song of all. I collect those too.

Bye

PS - Our little boy is now 34 months old. He so loves to take photographs with the cell phone and also with the camera. At first it was a joke, but in the last 2 months he has entered 2 pictures into a contest, and one of them took 1st Place. He has never attended any school!
Above he took some really fine shots of a mother goat and her two kids. Below, a picture of an old woman about to gather her week's supply of sun-dried firewood.
Hope you like the stuff he creates. I am hoping he'll find a great girl like you one day. Do you have any 2 or 3 year old sisters?

A man like he will become...will need a super wife.
I'd love your sister to have first shot at him, Ruby...so you and me could be...
                                                                      an extended family.

You and Me

There's a leafless tree in Asia
Under the sun there's a homeless man
There's a forest fire in the valley
Where the story all began

What will be our last thought?
Do you think it's coming soon?
Will it be of comfort
Or the pain of a burning wound?

All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, never stop

You're an ocean full of faces
And you know that we believe
We're just a wave that drifts around you
Singing all our hopes and dreams
We look around in wonder
At the work that has been done
By the visions of Our Father
Touched by his Loving Son

All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, never stop
All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, never stop
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, ever, never, ever stop...
